The mission of Jewish Cuisine Through the Ages is to educate and unite Jewish women from the Greater New Haven and Shoreline areas in a celebration of our common identity, culture and history.
The program focuses on how generations of Jewish cooks have ingeniously adapted to their surroundings, using whatever resources were available, to suit the values of kashrut and the traditions of Shabbat and Jewish festivals. Today, whether in Hong Kong, London or Los Angeles, we too continue to create sophisticated modern dishes that exceed boundaries and make the kosher kitchen as exotic and innovative as any other. The Jewish Women’s Circle creates innovative programs to educate women about their unique history, culture and traditions. Uniting Jewish women of all ages and backgrounds, the Circle seeks to experience the depth and beauty of our rich heritage and explore ways to infuse our lives with its spirit.
